The unusual true blue, star-like flowers, sit on top of mounded feathery foliage. Lightly scented they make an ideal subject for all types of containers and as a bedding plant item. Native to many parts of Australia and an excellent bee and pollinator attracting flower. A half hardy annual, flowering the same year. Prefers a well-drained soil and sunny position.

How to Sow Seeds

Method: Sow in Spring through to early Summer, Autumn too in warm areas, 5mm (¼”) deep in flowering position.
Thinning: Thin out to 20cm (8”) apart when large enough to handle.
Germination: Seedlings emerge 14-21 days.
Growing notes: Keep moist. Alternatively, can be raised in seed boxes or trays using seed raising mix.
