A popular mixture, a dwarf strain which is much better than the older tall types. Ideal for bedding, tubs, window boxes and border edges. A half-hardy annual, flowering the same year. Prefers a sunny position.

How to Sow Seeds

Method: Sow thinly in trays of seed compost.
Depth: Harden off and plant out when seedlings are 5-10cm tall, allowing 9-12in (25-30cm) between plants.
Thinning: Thin (prick out) when seedlings have developed 2-4 leaves.
Growing notes: Just cover the seeds with compost, keep moist and maintain a temperature of 15-20C (60-68F). Germination should take 10-14 days, but may be erratic. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering season.
