Care Guide
Position: Choose full sun to part shade. Plant in a rock or gravel garden, a mixed border, or a patio container or hanging basket where the branching stems can be appreciated. Avoid deep shade, which can produce weak growth.
Soil & watering: Good drainage is essential. Use a freely draining soil or suitable succulent potting mix and a container with drainage holes. Water when dry during the first six weeks after planting, and regularly in dry weather. Check the soil before watering and do not leave the plant sitting in wet conditions.
Feeding: Apply slow-release fertiliser in spring, following the label rate for the product and container size. Do not exceed the recommended application rate.
Pruning & seasonal care: Remove spent flowers and prune to shape in early spring to encourage a dense, neat habit. In cold regions the above-ground growth may die back, with fresh foliage returning in spring. Avoid keeping the root zone wet while growth is dormant.
