Botanical name – Epipremnum aureum 'Green Dragon'
Common name – Devils Ivy, Green Dragon Pothos, Scindapsus
Description – An extremely hardy indoor plant with long trailing stems with heart shaped, glossy green foliage. Perfect for hanging baskets and can also be trained to climb up a trellis or totem pole. Known for its excellent air purification capabilities including removing benzene, trichloroethylene, xylene and formaldehyde from the air. Location – Needs a well-drained soil in areas of great natural light, although can be tolerable of lower light areas if not over watered.
Care – Low maintenance, allowing soil to completely dry between watering. Reduce watering in winter while the plant is dormant. Feed in spring with a slow release fertiliser.
