Bondall Pot & Ornament Sealer is a water-based protective sealer designed to seal and waterproof porous pots, garden ornaments and decorative surfaces while maintaining their natural appearance. It dries clear to provide a durable protective finish without covering the original colour and character of the material.
Particularly useful for unglazed terracotta pots, applying the sealer internally helps reduce moisture absorption through the porous walls. This can limit water loss from the potting mix while helping protect the external finish from moisture-related staining and deterioration.

- Application: Brush, roller or suitable spray equipment
- Drying Time: Approximately 24 hours
- Recoat Time: Minimum 4 hours
How to Use:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and loose material.
- Test on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the entire surface.
- Shake the container before use.
- Apply the first coat evenly, ensuring good penetration into the porous surface.
- Allow at least 4 hours between coats and apply a minimum of two coats.
- Allow at least 48 hours after application before filling treated pots with soil.
Important Information:
- For terracotta pots, apply to the internal surface to help reduce moisture absorption while retaining the natural exterior appearance.
- Not suitable for glazed surfaces.
- Not designed to waterproof vessels intended to permanently hold water, such as ponds or water features.
- Existing stains, mould, moss and efflorescence should be treated before sealing.
- Always follow the manufacturer's application and safety instructions.
