Dimensions are approximate. These pots are handmade from natural clay, so variations of up to ±20 mm can be expected in larger sizes.
The Citrus Pot combines a traditional terracotta appearance with a generous planting space. Use it to display a citrus tree, a feature shrub or a colourful planting arrangement in a courtyard, patio or garden. Available in several sizes, it can be used on its own or grouped with matching pots to create a coordinated display. Presealed CottaSEAL terracotta provides added protection while retaining the familiar character of terracotta.
Due to their fragile nature, these terracotta products are available for in-store pickup or Sydney Metro delivery by Four Seasons Nursery only. We are unable to send them by courier or standard interstate delivery.
For a large order outside Sydney Metro, pallet freight may be an option if you are willing to pay the pallet delivery rate. Please visit our interstate delivery page and submit your request. Availability and freight costs will need to be confirmed before delivery can be arranged.
Terracotta naturally ages and changes in appearance over time. Variations in colour, weathering and the development of a patina are part of the character of pottery made from natural clay.
Clean with a scrubbing brush and hot soapy water, then rinse thoroughly and allow the pottery to dry.
The dimensions shown are the maximum external measurements, rather than the internal planting space. Choose a pot with enough room for your plant's root system and future growth, and check that it will fit comfortably in its intended position.
When planting, use a suitable potting mix for the type of plant and keep drainage holes clear. Consider using pot feet to create space beneath the base, or a suitable saucer to collect excess water. Check the saucer size against the base of the pot, and empty collected water as needed so the plant is not left standing in water.
Unsealed terracotta is porous and can dry out faster, so check the moisture in the potting mix regularly and adjust watering to suit the plant and conditions.
For unsealed pots, consider spraying the inside with Bondall Pot Sealer to help reduce water moving through the pot walls and retain moisture in the soil for longer. Follow the product instructions, keep drainage holes clear and allow the sealer to cure before planting.
CottaSEAL pots are already presealed, so additional sealing may not be needed. Check suitability before applying another product to any pot that is already sealed.
Saucers are sold separately.
