Manufactured in Australia using premium BlueScope® REDCOR® weathering steel, SHAPESCAPER® Hexagonal Planters combine exceptional strength, durability and contemporary design. Their distinctive six-sided shape creates a striking feature for gardens, courtyards and commercial landscapes, while the modular construction makes assembly straightforward.
REDCOR® weathering steel is specifically designed for Australian conditions. Over time, the steel develops a natural oxide layer, known as a patina, that produces a rich, rustic appearance while helping protect the underlying steel from further corrosion. Each planter is backed by a 10-year structural warranty.
The planters feature smooth, rounded edges and a substantial 40mm x 20mm returned top rim for additional strength, rigidity and safety. Supplied in two halves with precision-engineered, pre-drilled fixing points, the sections join together easily for accurate alignment and a professional finish.

Installation & Care
SHAPESCAPER® Hexagonal Planters are designed for straightforward assembly using the supplied modular components.
- Prepare the location: Select a firm, level surface with suitable drainage beneath the planter.
- Assemble the planter: Position the two halves together, align the pre-drilled fixing points and secure using the supplied fixtures.
- Check alignment: Ensure all connections are secure and the planter is level before filling.
- Prepare for planting: As the planter has no base, install over suitable soil or a properly designed, free-draining foundation.
- Fill and plant: Add appropriate soil or growing media for your selected plants, allowing for settlement and watering.
- Allow natural weathering: REDCOR® steel will initially appear light grey due to its protective oil film. With exposure to alternating wet and dry conditions, the surface gradually develops its characteristic rust-coloured patina over several weeks to months, depending on environmental conditions.
Important: These planters do not include a base and are not freestanding sealed containers. Installation on paving, concrete or elevated surfaces requires appropriate consideration of drainage, soil weight and potential staining from weathering steel runoff.
