Installation & Care

The Twisted Sister Fire Pit should be positioned on a firm, level, non-combustible surface in a well-ventilated outdoor location, away from buildings, overhanging branches and other flammable materials.

• Choose a suitable location: Allow adequate clearance from structures, vegetation, outdoor furniture and combustible materials.
• Use appropriate firewood: Burn clean, dry, seasoned timber. Avoid burning treated, painted or chemically coated wood.
• Allow natural weathering: REDCOR® steel gradually develops its characteristic rust-coloured patina through exposure to alternating wet and dry conditions.
• Remove ash regularly: Allow the fire pit to cool completely before removing accumulated ash and debris.
• Keep the fire pit clean: Avoid leaving wet ash or standing water in prolonged contact with the steel.

Important: The fire pit and surrounding surfaces can become extremely hot during use. Never leave a burning fire unattended, and keep children and pets at a safe distance. Always check local council regulations, fire restrictions and weather conditions before lighting an outdoor fire.

Weathering steel runoff may stain nearby paving, concrete and other finished surfaces during the natural patina development process.
