Roots up to 18cm long, 6cm diameter. Well suited to sub-tropical areas. High tolerance to heat and leaf blight. High quality, uniform roots of great flavour.

How to Sow Seeds

Method: Sow direct where they are to grow, 5mm (¼”) deep in rows 30cm (12”) apart.
Thinning: Thin seedlings to 7.5cm (3”) apart, water well to replace dislodged soil.
Germination: Repeat sowings at two weekly intervals for a continuous supply.Seedlings emerge 10-21 days Soil Type Well cultivated.
Growing notes: Before sowing dig the soil well until fine and crumbly, and in clay soils add sand and organic matter.
