How to Sow Seeds

Method: Sow Parsley Italian seeds thinly 5mm (1/4'') deep in trays or cells of compost, or direct sow into a prepared garden bed.
Thinning: Once they emerge, transplant or thin to 20cm apart in the vegetable garden or in pots.
Growing notes: Regularly pinch off the outer leaves to harvest, allowing the centres to grow out. When a thick central stem forms, the plant is preparing to flower. Pinch out this stem to prolong harvest.
