How to Sow Seeds

Growing notes: Sow your Blackjack zucchini seeds 12mm (1/2") deep, directly in their intended final position. Sow three or four seeds in a clump, later thinning them out to the two strongest seedlings. Prepare the soil well by adding organic material and a complete fertiliser. Allow 100 cm (3’) between rows and space plants 90 cm (3’) apart - they need plenty of space. Keep your zucchinis well-watered as they grow, and harvest regularly when about 15 cm (6”) long to encourage higher yields.
