"In winter beautiful pasted red to cream bicoloured flowers adorn this grey green stemless ball-shaped perennial who’s size and form resemble that of the Echidna, Australia’s egg laying mammal. This wonderful little aloe hybrid has pointed leaves which are covered in prominent but soft and safe , white warty spines. Grey Green leaves. Stemless ball shaped plants with soft safe white warty spines."

Most soil types as long as free draining but rich soil preferred. If clay soils must raise plant so water drains away

"Highly resistant to pests and disease. Feed yearly with a succulent fertiliser. Water during Summer, provide fertiliser/compost in Spring, remove old spent flowers (not necessary) and remove old leaves (not necessary)"
