An exceptional heirloom tomato providing plenty of medium-sized fruits through the season. The patterned skin on these tomatoes provide a decorative touch to any meal. Tasty low acid fruits that are delicious in salads and rich in vitamins. An indeterminate variety that is best staked. Winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit for reliability and good performance.

How to Sow Seeds

Growing notes: Sow 5mm (1/4in) deep. Cover with a fine layer of soil and firm gently. Keep soil moist. Seedlings appear in 10-14 days.

When large enough to handle transplant seedlings 75cm (30in) apart both ways. Keep well-watered and free of weeds. Pinch out side shoots as they appear. Secure to stakes or supports as plants grow taller.

Apply a pre-planting fertiliser to the soil and keep plants well-watered. When the first truss has set, feed regularly with an all-purpose liquid feed.
