How to Sow Seeds

Growing notes: Sow Tendergreen dwarf bean seeds 25mm (1”) deep in dark, damp soil. Prepare the soil with organic compost and aged animal manure before sowing, and avoid watering for a day or two afterwards.

Sow 7-10cm (3-4”) apart, allowing 50cm (20”) between rows. Ensure the danger of frost has passed and protect plants from the wind. Plant in 3-5 metre (10-16’) rows and remove weeds regularly.

Water Tendergreen dwarf bean plants well during dry periods; additional fertilising is not required as legumes produce their own nitrogen. Regular harvesting will result in continued yields.
