Choose between open rings, designed for installation around existing trees and plantings, or closed rings, supplied fully riveted and ready to position in new garden areas. Precision-engineered components and pre-drilled fixing points make installation straightforward.

Open vs Closed Tree Rings
Open Tree Rings: Ideal for existing trees and established plantings. Supplied with an opening so the ring can be positioned around the tree and secured on-site using the supplied connectors and rivets.
Closed Tree Rings: Supplied fully joined and riveted, making them suitable for new planting areas where the ring can be positioned before planting.

Installation & Care
SHAPESCAPER® Tree Rings are supplied pre-rolled to simplify installation.
- Prepare the location: Select a suitable, level area with adequate drainage.
- Position the ring: Place the ring in its intended location, ensuring it is correctly aligned.
- Open rings: Position around the existing tree or planting, then join the ends using the supplied connectors and rivets.
- Closed rings: Position the pre-assembled ring before planting or filling.
- Complete the installation: Add suitable soil or growing media as required, taking care not to bury existing tree trunks or root flares.
Important: When installing around established trees, avoid damaging surface roots or raising soil levels against the trunk. Weathering steel finishes may also produce runoff that can stain nearby paving and other surfaces during patina development.
