Description

Brother Cadfael is a David Austin English Shrub rose with very large, rounded pink blooms that have a soft, peony-like fullness. It forms a medium to large shrub and is well suited to rose beds, cottage gardens and large feature plantings where its fragrance can be enjoyed.

Location

Full sun; plant in an open position with well-drained soil and good airflow.

Care

Water deeply while establishing and during dry periods. Feed in late winter or early spring and again through the growing season with a rose fertiliser. Prune in winter, remove spent flowers during the season and mulch well while keeping mulch clear of the stems.
