Common name – Philodendron ‘Brazil’ or Philodendron ‘Brasil’
Description – This new indoor climbing plant has glossy green heart-shaped leaves with stripes of yellow variegation and is perfect for hanging baskets or climbing up a trellis. Brazil is very low maintenance making it perfect for beginners. This plant helps to remove many toxins from your home including formaldehyde. Location – Prefers outdoor full to part shade (morning sun only) and bright to low indirect light inside. Low light will reduce the variegation seen in new leaves.
Care – Water regularly after top third of potting mix has dried out. Reduce frequency of watering in winter. Feed with a liquid fertiliser monthly during spring, summer and autumn.
