Description

Botanical name – Philodendron martianum 'Fat Boy' (cannifolium)

Common name – Fat Boy Philodendron

Description – This is a rare and unusual indoor plant with striking features. Its thick, fleshy leaves are dark green and grow up to 20cm long and 10cm wide, with prominent veins that give the plant a unique texture. The new growth has a bronze hue that gradually fades to green. This plant grows in a rosette form and can become quite large with age.

Care – This plant requires moderate care. Water when the top inch of soil has dried out, and avoid overwatering as this can cause root rot.
