One of the most popular tomato varieties, this tomato is an old English heirloom variety that copes surprisingly well with humidity. It is a thin skinned fruit with a solid flesh and fine flavour, and it is also an extremely heavy cropper. This variety will require staking. Excellent source of Vitamin C, A and E, potassium, fibre and antioxidants. The fruit have a low acidity when fully ripe. These seeds are produced by Organic methods.

How to Sow Seeds

Method: Pots / Direct sow

Spacing: 75cm
Growing notes: Sow early Spring to Summer - all year round in subtropical and tropical areas. Sow 5mm (1/4”) deep in pots or trays of seed raising mix. Transplant to final growing position when sturdy enough to handle, spacing plants 75cm (30”) apart each way. Water daily, and when the first truss has set, feed regularly. Pinch out the side shoots as they appear. Can also be sown direct in final position after danger of frost has passed. Prefers a warm sunny position. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days.
