Original LÖWE No.5 Easy-Cut Anvil Pruning Secateurs are compact, professional-grade secateurs designed to deliver impressive cutting power in a smaller, lightweight tool. Particularly well suited to small and medium hands, the No.5 combines LÖWE's proven anvil cutting system with a short, slender blade for easy, controlled pruning.

The blade makes a drawing cut against a fixed anvil, providing excellent force transmission and requiring less effort than many conventional pruning actions. At just 170mm long and approximately 190g, the No.5 is a great choice for gardeners and professionals wanting the performance of a LÖWE anvil pruner in a smaller, easier-to-handle format.

Features:

• Compact professional-grade anvil pruning secateurs
• Designed for small to medium hand sizes
• Short, slender blade for easy and controlled cutting
• Suitable for harder, woody and dead growth
• Original LÖWE drawing-cut anvil system for efficient power transfer
• Chrome-plated steel body for strength and durability
• Straight handles with comfortable plastic grips
• Suitable for both left and right-handed users

• Made in Germany

Why Choose the LÖWE No.5?

The No.5 is a particularly good choice for anyone who finds a full-sized pair of professional secateurs too large or tiring to operate. Its compact handle size and low weight make it comfortable for smaller hands, while the anvil cutting action provides the leverage needed to tackle surprisingly robust branches.

The short, narrow blade also makes the No.5 easy to position around stems and branches, making it well suited to general garden pruning, fruit trees, vines, shrubs and other detailed pruning work.

Why Choose Anvil Secateurs?

Anvil secateurs use a single cutting blade that makes a drawing cut against a fixed base. This provides efficient power transmission and reduces the cutting effort required, particularly when working with harder or older woody growth.

The LÖWE cutting principle also avoids the cutting impact associated with traditional bypass secateurs, helping reduce strain on the hand and joints during repeated pruning.

Cutting Capacity:

Suitable for branches up to approximately 16mm diameter, depending on the hardness of the material being cut.

Built to be Maintained:

Original LÖWE secateurs are designed as long-term pruning tools. Wear components can be replaced individually rather than replacing the complete tool, allowing the blade, anvil, spring and other components to be serviced as required.

Care:

Keep the blade and cutting surfaces clean and dry after use. Occasionally lubricate the spring, pivot and other moving components with a suitable light oil, and replace worn components as required to maintain smooth cutting performance.
