Supplied in a labelled ziplock pouch for freshness, they are high in protein, fibre, folate, and iron to support muscle repair, digestion, and energy. Rich in antioxidants, lentils promote vitality and help protect against chronic diseases.

How to Sow Seeds

Method: Using a Jar: Place 1 tablespoon of seeds in a large jar, cover with a fine cloth secured with a rubber band.
Thinning: Add a thin tissue paper layer and sprinkle seeds on it.
Growing notes: SPROUTS: Using a Kitchen Seed Sprouter: Spread 1 tablespoon of seeds in one or more trays. Stack the trays and pour water into the top tray to start siphoning. After draining, empty excess water from the bottom tray. Water this way 2-3 times daily for humidity. Soak seeds in warm water overnight. Next day, pour off excess water and rinse thoroughly. Rinse and drain sprouts at least twice a day. Larger varieties may take up to 5 days to sprout. Keep them moist. Discard any sprouts with dark brown or grey discoloration and a pungent smell. MICROGREENS: Using a Microgreens Tray: Fill the plastic container with water and place the black growing tray on top. Place in a light, warm position away from direct sunlight. Spray seeds 2-3 times daily until roots develop; cover with foil to retain moisture. Once roots reach the water, remove the foil and maintain water levels. Add liquid fertiliser for growth. Harvest seedlings in 7-14 days by cutting above the seed. Using Soil: Fill a seedling tray or pots with quality soil and firm down. Sow seeds thinly and cover with a fine layer of soil. Keep the soil moist, but not too wet; add liquid fertiliser for growth. Harvest seedlings in 7-14 days by cutting at the bottom of the stem. Soil Type Well-drained, sandy or loamy soil with good drainage and a slightly acidic to neutral pH.
