How to Sow Seeds

Growing notes: Sow thinly in 2.5cm (1 in) deep in rows 30cm (12 in) apart—water well during any dry spells. No further thinning is required for baby leaves if seeds are sown thinly. Repeat sowings at 2-3 weekly intervals for a continuous crop. For regular spinach, thin to 15cm (6 in) between plants. Do not sow for mature plants in mid-summer, only for baby leaves. Pick individual baby leaves as required to encourage further growth, up to 3-4 cuts.
