Description

Botanical name – Howea fosteriana

Common name – Kentia Palm, Thatch Palm

Description – A tall growing palm with a slender trunk and feather shaped, drooping fronds. Widely used in tropical landscape gardens however also commonly used as an indoor plant.

Location – Suitable for most soil types. Establishes best in part shade gardens but can climatize to full sun. An ideal plant for indoors in areas of great natural or filtered light.
