How to Sow Seeds

Method: Pots / Direct sow
Growing notes: Sow your Japanese bunching onion seeds in a prepared seedbed or directly into pots or containers. Plant them thinly in rows 20cm (8 in) apart, or in blocks. Lightly cover the seeds with 6mm (1/4 in) of fine soil, firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings should appear within 14-21 days. No thinning is necessary once the seedlings emerge. Keep the area moist and free of weeds to ensure healthy growth. Harvest crops 8-12 weeks after sowing. For a continuous supply, sow seeds every 2-3 weeks.
