How to Sow Seeds

Method: Sow your easy-to-grow Crystal Apple cucumber seeds 12mm (½”) deep directly in their final position.
Thinning: Sow seeds in clumps of four or five, later thinning them out to just the two strongest seedlings.
Growing notes: Allow 40-50 cm (16-20”) between clumps. Before planting, prepare the soil well by adding organic material and a complete fertiliser. When the young plants have five or six leaves, pinch out growing tips to encourage the growth of side shoots. Grow your cucumbers alongside a trellis or fence if space is limited.
