How to Sow Seeds

Growing notes: Sow your easy-to-grow Crystal Apple cucumber seeds 12mm (1/2”) deep directly in their final position. Sow seeds in clumps of four or five, later thinning them out to just the two strongest seedlings. Allow 40-50 cm (16-20”) between clumps. Before planting, prepare the soil well by adding organic material and a complete fertiliser. When the young plants have five or six leaves, pinch out growing tips to encourage the growth of side shoots. Grow your cucumbers alongside a trellis or fence if space is limited. Keep Crystal Apple cucumber plants well-watered as they grow.
