How to Sow Seeds

Method: Direct sow
Depth: 5mm
Growing notes: Sow Cornflower Blue Ball seeds 5mm deep directly into their flowering position in March or April. Keep the soil moist during germination. You can also sow outdoors in August or September; these seeds will establish just as well in cooler weather. Once seedlings emerge, thin them to 25cm (9in) apart to give each plant enough space to thrive. Remove flowers as they die to prolong the flowering season.
