Botanical name – Alocasia baginda ‘Silver Dragon’
Common name – Elephant’s Ear, Dragon Scale
Description – This striking collector’s plant has silvery green leaves which resemble dragon scales. It is a smaller growing variety of Alocasia making it perfect for pots.
Location – Can be used outdoors in morning sun or a very brightly light indoor position. Requires a warm humid location all year.
Care – Use a premium well drained potting mix with perlite and allow the soil to partially dry out before watering and almost completely dry out in winter while its dormant. Use a liquid fertiliser monthly during the warmer months.
