Delivery Information

Four Seasons offers door-to-door delivery across much of Sydney, as well as selected surrounding areas including Newcastle, Wollongong, Katoomba, and the lower Blue Mountains.

We deliver a wide range of products including plants, pots, water features, bulk supplies, turf, firewood, and general nursery goods.

Deliveries are available Monday to Saturday, with our first runs usually starting from around 7am.

When placing your order online, over the phone, or in store, please make sure you let us know about any important access details such as narrow driveways, low-hanging trees, tight access, or steep delivery areas. This helps us make sure your delivery goes smoothly and avoids delays or extra charges.

Delivery Pricing

Our standard delivery charges are based on one truck, one delivery, to one address.

  • Bulk deliveries can carry up to 6 tonnes / 8m³
  • Firewood deliveries can carry up to 3 tonnes per truck

If your order exceeds these amounts, an additional delivery charge may apply.

Standard
This refers to our courier delivery service for smaller items and selected freight orders. These deliveries are handled by a third-party courier and are calculated automatically at checkout.

Delivery FAQs

What days do you deliver?

We deliver Monday to Saturday, with our first deliveries generally starting from around 7am.
At checkout or over the phone, please make note of your prefere delivery day and AM or PM for your delivery and we will do our best to accomodate.

What areas do you deliver to?

We offer delivery to most parts of Sydney, as well as selected areas including Newcastle, Wollongong, Katoomba, and the lower Blue Mountains.

If your suburb or postcode does not appear at checkout or in our delivery list, please contact us and we’ll let you know if we can assist.

How is delivery pricing calculated?

Our standard delivery pricing is based on one truck delivering to one address.

For larger orders, if your goods require more than one truck load, an additional delivery charge may apply.

Maximum load sizes:

  • Bulk Supplies: up to 6 tonnes / 8m³ per truck
  • Firewood: up to 3 tonnes per truck

How does Flat Rate Delivery work?

Eligible orders under 500kg may qualify for our $35 Flat Rate Delivery.

  • Orders must be under 500kg
  • Not available for items that require 2 people or more to unload, such as large pots or fountains
  • No bulk supplies
  • No time requests on these orders
  • Deliveries will be made within 5 days of ordering, when we are in the area
  • This is a kerbside delivery option only
  • No moving into place or taking goods around the back

If your order qualifies, this option will appear at checkout as Flat Rate Delivery.

My freight quote at checkout seems too high — what should I do?

If your freight quote at checkout looks unusually high, it may be because your order is:

  • Too large or bulky for standard courier delivery
  • Being quoted as pallet or specialised freight
  • Outside our standard local delivery area

In many cases, we may be able to provide a more suitable custom freight option for larger or bulky orders outside Sydney Metro.

Can I request a delivery time?

Yes, you can request a preferred delivery time and we’ll always do our best to accommodate where possible.

Our general delivery windows are:

  • First Drop (around 7am)
  • 7am – 9am
  • 9am – 12pm
  • 12pm – 4pm

Please note these are requested time windows only and cannot be guaranteed due to delivery volume, traffic, and route scheduling.

If you don’t need a specific time, you can simply request a delivery day.

Can I be contacted before delivery?

Yes, if requested, our team can call or message prior to arrival.

Please make sure the site is ready before delivery, including:

  • Clear access for the truck
  • Cars moved out of the way
  • Pets safely secured
  • Delivery area free from clutter or debris

If you require floor or surface protection, this must be supplied by the customer. We do not provide drop sheets or tarps.

How are bulk supplies delivered?

Bulk products are generally tipped from the truck onto your driveway or another area that our driver can safely access.

How are turf deliveries made?

Turf is generally hand stacked from the truck and left within 2 metres of access.

Orders of 100m² or more are typically delivered directly from the farm via forklift delivery.

How are plants, pots, and nursery goods delivered?

Standard delivery of nursery goods generally includes placement within 5 metres of the truck, provided there is flat, level access, a clear path, and no trip hazards.

For larger or heavier items, we may use a tailgate loader and pallet jack to unload safely.

Do you deliver into backyards, upstairs, or into position?

In some cases, yes, however this may attract additional handling or two-man delivery charges depending on weight, access, distance from truck, and the number of staff required.

Do you offer installation or potting up?

Yes, we offer installation and potting up services for selected items including water features, pots, and planters.

Can I order online if I’m outside your local delivery area?

Yes, we also offer Australia-wide courier delivery for many items through our freight network.

At checkout, this option appears as Standard. If the amount seems extremely high, please contact us, as some items require manual pricing. Use the Request a Delivery Quote button above to contact us.

How are plant orders sent by courier?

To give plants the best chance of arriving safely, plant courier orders are generally packed and sent on Mondays only.

What courier companies do you use?

Our courier service may use providers including Australia Post, Couriers Please, TNT, Allied Express, NXQ and Amerex.

Can I pay cash on delivery?

No - We are no longer taking COD orders. Payment in full prior to delivery is required on all orders
