Delivery Information

Deliveries are made Monday - Saturday with our first drops around 7am. When booking a delivery directly with us over the phone, in-store or online, please make sure you give the staff all the relevant information regarding your delivery site. Narrow driveways, low hanging trees, tight access etc, is all information required to provide a smooth and hassle-free delivery. Failure to provide this information can result in additional delivery charges and re-delivery fees.

Pricing
Four Seasons offers door to door delivery using our own drivers and trucks to deliver goods, including Bulk Supplies, Water Features, Pots, Plants, and all others nursery goods. We have a fleet of trucks capable of handling large plant and pot deliveries and bulk supply deliveries up to 6Ton/8m³. Our pricing is a flat rate and is a charge for 1 truck to come to your address. If your order contains more than 6Ton/8m³ of bulk supplies a second delivery charge will be charged at the standard rate. Delivery rates can be found at the bottom of this page based on suburb. You can also use our online checkout system to calculate a single delivery charge. At present the online store will only charge a single delivery charge. Four Seasons staff will determine if additional delivery charges are required. Door to door delivery is offered to most parts of Sydney, north up to Newcastle, south to Wollongong and west to Katoomba and the base of the Blue Mountains. Four Seasons now offers courier delivery (via Shippit) for all orders outside of Sydney Metro but also inside of Sydney Metro for smaller orders where Door to Door service is not economical. These deliveries are quoted at checkout ONLINE ONLY and cannot be generated in store. Read more below regarding our Courier Service.

FOUR SEASONS FLAT RATE SPECIAL
Until further notice, orders placed online or over the phone in delivery zones normally up to $69 are eligible for a discounted flat rate delivery charge of just $30. This will apply to all orders under 500kg and does not include bulk supplies, water features or Firewood. Deliveries will be made withing 3-5 days of placing your order and are subject to availability. Delivery is to kerbside and does not include 2 man delivery or moving products into place.
To access this discount simply add items to your cart and in checkout enter your postcode and FOUR SEASONS FLAT RATE SPECIAL will appear. Select that method, complete your checkout with payment and your goods will be dispatched shortly.

Delivery times and requests
Deliveries can be requested for timing and we will do our best to accommodate these requests. Not all requests can be fulfilled due to delivery volume and locations. Generally, our delivery schedules are First Drop (around 7am, this is our most in demand slot and is served on a first come first served basis), 7am - 9am, 9am - 12pm and 12pm - 4pm. These times are only a guide for our deliveries and cannot be guaranteed. If you do not need a specific time you can just request a day, and the delivery will be made throughout the day.

Contact prior to delivery
Prior to delivery, a call or message can be requested. Our team will do their best to contact you prior to arrival but please be ready for the delivery for your requested time/day. Make sure all cars are clear out of the way and in the case of an installation, access to the delivery area is clear for debris and clutter, animals are safely enclosed and any drop sheets and protections you need are in place before we arrive (we do not provide tarps/drop sheets).

How delivery is made
Depending on the products you have ordered there are a few different delivery methods.
Bulk Supplies: These goods are tipped on your driveway or area that our truck can safely access, we do not supply Bulka Bags. Safety is at the drivers discretion and we reserve the right to refuse any requests we deem unsafe. Once you allow the truck onto your premises we are not liable for any damage that occurs while there. Bulk goods are tipped in a pile straight off the truck. They are not handled in any way by Four Seasons. They are tipped off from lightest to heaviest product depending on the order. If you need something tipped off first please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate with safety in mind. We can split a load up to 3 times depending on quantities ordered. 3m³ or more of 1 product means we can only split once and deliveries are up to 6ton/8m³ of product (Firewood is an exception to this, the most our trucks can hold is 3 ton). Turf deliveries are hand stacked from the truck and left within 2m of the truck. Orders 100m² and over are delivered directly by our farm with a forklift delivery.
Nursery Goods: Delivery of nursery goods on a standard delivery are within 5m of the truck where there is flat level access from free debris and trip hazards. Where able on large deliveries we make use of our tailgate loader and pallet service. Pots and Water Features are wrapped on a pallet and lifted off the truck with our tailgate lift. The pallet is wheeled into place (where this is flat access, i.e into a garage) and can be left wrapped or unloaded and pallet taken away. Additional delivery fees may apply for 2 man deliveries (where large, heavy or bulk items need to be unloaded from the truck). Goods can be moved into place outside of the 5m but additional handling charges will apply for moving into place. This includes moving items into a backyard or upstairs.
Installation/Potting Up: We also offer an installation service and potting up service of our water features and planters. All goods to be used in the installation must be purchased from Four Seasons and it is preferred they are all delivered at the same time in a single delivery. Fees apply on installations and it is on an order by order basis depending on how much work is involved. We install all Water Features we have available on site and will provide minor leveling of area only. We do not install footings, run electrical wire or water to the features. These are to be installed by licensed trades people prior to our installation. Electricity is not essential for the installation day but please have a power lead and hose ready for the installation so our team can test the pump and feature for level to make sure it is working correctly.
When installing plants and pots we ask that you have the area ready, free from clutter and debris and ready for the planters to be installed. Please have a hose close by for watering in of your new plants.
When we finish our installation, all rubbish/crating that we bring with us is removed and taken way.

Payments and COD deliveries
In the case of a COD delivery, please make sure you have exact money ready for the driver in an envelope. The drivers do not carry change and this is not our preferred method. A call to your local store can be made to pay the invoice over the phone with credit card (no surcharges apply) at the time of delivery or prior to the delivery by EFT Direct Debit. These details can be found on your invoice (please allow 2 days for funds to clear in our account). No goods are left on site without payment. Failure to pay on time can result in redelivery fees and related charges.

Courier Service
Four Seasons now offers a courier service for deliveries of items all over Australia. Our courier service Shippit is integrated into our online store and will calculate delivery based on the size of the order and method in which the order is to be packed. It will quote on pallet services and bulk freight too, meaning we can now deliver Water Features and large pot orders anywhere in the country. This service is labelled STANDARD when selecting your delivery options at checkout.
Four Seasons takes no responsibility of the time it takes for these deliveries to be made. Once the order leaves our store a tracking number is sent via email to the address used to place your order. Once it leaves our store, we have no control over the package location or condition. For this reason, all plant orders are packed and booked on a Monday, allowing the most time for the plants to get to our customers safely. If you place an order on a Wednesday, your order will be held until the following Monday for packaging and shipment. Orders must be placed by 12pm Monday for packing and booking in with the courier that week. You can request shipping of your plants on any day, but Four Seasons will not be held responsible for plants that are dried out or burnt if left sitting in a warehouse over the weekend.
When we pack plants for delivery via our courier service, generally, they are watered and left to drain, then we wrap the pot in plastic so the plant cannot slip out of the pot and moisture is retained in the soil. We package them in the appropriately sized box and tape them to the box. When you receive your plants, cut off the plastic wrap and water the plants well, leaving them in a bright, well-lit spot out of direct sun for 2 days to allow them to adapt properly to the new light and conditions. If your plants arrive damaged or in poor health, please contact us via email or on our ‘contact us’ form within 24hrs of receipt of plants to notify us of the issue. Any claims after 24hrs cannot be made on living products.
Couriers we use via Shippit include, but are not limited to - Australia Post (including parcel lockers), Amerax, Couriers Please, TNT, Allied Express and NXQ.
Some of these services that are quoted are for pick up from you local depot. We will contact you prior to shipping to let you know this is the case and make arrangments with you to arrange the delivery to the depot for you.
