Botanical name – Alocasia sarawakensis 'Yucatan Princess' 

Common name – Elephant’s Ear

Description – This regal indoor plant has glossy dark green leaves with are chocolate brown on the underside and on the stems.

Location – Can be used outdoors in morning sun or a very brightly light indoor position. Requires a warm humid location all year.

Care – Use a premium well drained potting mix with perlite and allow the soil to partially dry out before watering and almost completely dry out in winter while its dormant. Use a liquid fertiliser monthly during the warmer months.
