Common name – Elephant’s Ear
Description – A striking tropical plant with deep purple glossy leaves accentuated by white margins and veins.
Location – Can be used outdoors in morning sun or a very brightly light indoor position. Requires a warm humid location all year.
Care – Use a premium well drained potting mix with perlite and allow the soil to partially dry out before watering and almost completely dry out in winter while its dormant. Use a liquid fertiliser monthly during the warmer months.
