Description
With butterfly and beneficial insect populations in serious decline, Mr Fothergill’s is focused on producing products that help increase their numbers and keep them pollinating our gardens into the future. Butterflies and beneficial insects play an essential role as pollinators, transferring pollen from one flower to another so plants can form fruits and seeds. They are also a good indicator of a healthy, balanced garden environment.

Many beneficial insects are under increasing threat due to pesticides, parasites and climate change, but home gardeners can support them by using responsible gardening practices, planting flowers that provide nectar and pollen, and offering safe shelter. The Butterfly & Insect Sanctuary Kit makes this easy by combining a durable wooden sanctuary with a sachet of pollinator friendly flower seeds to attract butterflies and other helpful insects into your garden.
