Botanical name – Alocasia micholitziana

Common name – Green velvet alocasia 

Description – The iconic arrow head leaf shape is complimented by white veins that dissect the deep matte green leaf blades. What makes this plant a rare collectors item is the soft velvet texture on the upper side of the leaves.

Location – preferably indoors in a well lit, high humidity area away from direct sunlight.

Care – well drained fertile soil, keep soil moist without letting it get soggy so allow excess water to dain through.
