Designed to sit directly in your garden or raised bed, this low-maintenance system allows composting worms to naturally process organic waste and deliver valuable nutrients straight into the surrounding soil.

Unlike traditional worm farms, there’s no need to harvest castings. Worms move freely in and out of the unit, breaking down food scraps and depositing nutrient-rich castings where your plants need them most. This creates a sustainable cycle that improves soil structure, boosts plant growth, and helps keep soil aerated and healthy.

Perfect for raised vegetable gardens, the Worm Buffet® feeds your veggies from below, encouraging stronger growth and better harvests. Once established, each unit can process approximately 1–2kg of kitchen scraps per week. For households with higher organic waste, multiple units can be installed 1.5m apart to scale up your composting system.

To get started, you’ll need 500 composting worms and a Tumbleweed Worm Farm Bedding Block (worms not included).
