Description – ‘Georgie Girl’ is a stunning native Australian plant that produces cream-yellow flowers with good form. It has a compact, bushy growth habit and vibrant green narrow foliage. This moderately vigorous variety is bird-attracting, making it a great food source for native birds. ‘Georgie Girl’ is moderately frost-tolerant and low maintenance. It's ideal for wildlife-friendly spaces and native garden designs, as well as for use in multiple garden scenarios and containers.

Care – ‘Georgie Girl’ has moderate water requirements once established. For garden beds, it grows best in acidic soil with good drainage. An added layer of mulch will assist moisture retention during periods of dryness. Do not fertilise young Waratah plants on initial planting. Allow plants to establish before applying an application of slow-release native fertiliser. In containers, use a native premium potting mix and water daily during the growing season. Fertilise containers with a native slow-release fertiliser after plants have settled.
