Description – Telopea 'Digger' is a moderately vigorous variety of the iconic Australian Waratah, known for its brilliant salmon-pink blooms from late winter through spring. The vibrant green, narrow foliage complements the bold flowers, which have a good form and are bird-attracting. 'Digger' has a slender growth habit, making it ideal for containers, hedging or as a feature specimen in gardens or native-friendly landscapes. With its great garden performance, this Waratah cultivar is a part of the Wild Brumby collection, which comes from one of Australia's leading Waratah breeding programs.

Location – Full sun to part shade, well-draining acidic soil. Uses: 'Digger' is a great option for native gardens, wildlife-friendly garden spaces, feature specimens in gardens or containers, hedging solutions, and blooms make stunning cut flowers.
Care – Telopea 'Digger' has moderate water requirements once established. For garden beds, it grows best in acidic soil with good drainage. Apply an added layer of mulch to assist moisture retention during dry periods. Do not fertilise young Waratah plants on initial planting. Allow plants to establish before applying an application of slow-release native fertiliser. In containers, use a native premium potting mix and water daily during the growing season. Fertilise containers with a native slow-release fertiliser after plants have settled.
