Common name – Wendy's Wish Salvia
Description – A neat and compact, fast-growing perennial with mid-green foliage and vibrant hot pink flowers that bloom throughout the warmer months. The tubular flowers are capped by a colourful calyx which remains for some time after flowering, extending its interest even longer. Ideal for pots, small gardens, or mass planting in drifts for a stunning, low maintenance display.

Location – Thrives in full sun to part shade and is tolerant of most soil types but prefers fertile, well-drained soil.
Care – Prune back one third of the plant after flowering in early spring to maintain shape and encourage a dense, bushy habit. Fertilise with a general-purpose slow-release fertiliser at the same time of pruning. Dry tolerant once established, but requires an occasional long soak during extended periods of heat.
