Botanical name – Philodendron spp. 'Dark Lord'

Common name – Philodendron Dark Lord

Description – This stunning tropical plant is known for it's striking varying colour in the leaves. It starts out bright orange, changes to a blood red and finally a dark green top with a metallic maroon underside.  'Dark Lord' is a vigorous grower showing off its stunningly bright red stems. 

Location – Philodendron 'Dark Lord' can tolerate lower light than most house plants. It is ideal for pots inside with filtered light or sheltered from full sun and frost outdoors. In conditions it favours, this plant can develop great size in the leaves and stems.  

Care – They thrive in moist soils with high organic matter and enjoy a coir pole to climb on. They are easy to grow and add a classy tropical feel to your home.
