Location – Suitable for bright to moderate indirect light or filtered morning sun indoors. Can grow outdoors in the part to full shade in warm climates however it must be in a well-draining soil. The turtle pattern will be brighter if the plant is in very bright light or an hour or two of sun on a windowsill.
Care – Water is held in its leaves so make sure to allow the potting mix to completely dry out between watering. Placing the pot in a saucer of water for two hours rather than watering from the top avoids the fragile stems and leaves rotting. Limit watering in winter. Fertilise every six months with a slow release for pots. Tolerates neglect.
