Botanical name – Helleborus x ballardiae 'Merlin'
Common name – Hellebore 'Merlin'
Description – An evergreen, clumping perennial with attractive, glossy green leaves. During Winter and early Spring, ‘Merlin’ produce beautiful saucer shaped flowers in shades of magenta to deep purple.
Helleborus are a perfect plant for cottage or formal gardens and look great with traditional favourites like Camellia and Daphne. They’re excellent for shady areas of the garden and look fantastic mass planted under trees, like Betula ‘Moss White’.

Care – Plant in any soil that is well-draining. Tidy after flowering by removing old flower heads. If growing in containers or full sun, care should be taken not to allow to dry out completely. For best results, feed in late autumn and spring with a slow-release fertiliser before and after flowering. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/skin irritant
