Common name – Ficus umbellata
Description – This funky Ficus variety has large green heart-shaped leaves which forms into a nice dense tree shape.
Location – Place in a warm, bright spot indoors close to a window or a few hours outside of morning sun. Will drop leaves if moved or placed in a windy/draughty location.
Care – Use a well-draining potting mix. Fertilise twice a year with an all-purpose slow-release fertiliser or monthly during warmer months with a liquid. Allow soil to partially dry between watering as per the time of year. Rotate pot regularly if indoors to avoid the plant stretching towards the light on an angle.
