Description – Clivia gardenii is a compact and clump-forming plant with dark green, strap-shaped leaves. It produces clusters of tubular, yellowish-green flowers that are slightly fragrant. The flowers are followed by orange-red berries that contain seeds. The plant needs regular watering during the growing season, but be careful not to overwater as it can cause the roots to rot. Fertilise with a balanced fertiliser during the growing season to encourage healthy growth and blooming. Remove spent flowers and berries to encourage new growth.
