Common name – Network Calathea
Description – Funky indoor plant with an interesting mosaic patterened leaf that resemebles a network. Great for brightly lit indoor areas.
Flower Colour – Small indescript white flowers emerge from the base of the plant
Flower Period – Rarely flowers inside
Location – Well lit room, ideally warm
Care – Low watering requirements. Water when the plant is almost dry. Use controlled release fertiliser in spring then again in another 6 months. Montior for indoor pests e.g. Mealy bug. If you are planting outdoors choose a warm protected shady area.
