Usage
Geo textile is used behind retaining walls to prevent the movement of silt through the wall. The fabric is also used as a separator when back filling a retaining wall.
When laying blue metal aggregate behind a wall the geo textile should be placed around the blue metal to prevent soil and silt moving into the blue metal clogging it up and preventing drainage.
Geo textile can also be used as an erosion preventer as it allows water to penetrate but will keep embankments contained.
Sold per lineal metre or by 50 metre roll
