Four Seasons Nursery and Mulch Supply

Four Seasons Nursery has never purchased Mulch from the supplier Greenlife Resource Recovery Facility, the supplier in question around the supply of contaminated mulch to public spaces and schools in Syndey.

 

We have never and will never use this supplier for our mulch or soil products. We source all our products from reputable suppliers. While the mulch supplied by Greenlife Resource Recovery Facility is cheaper, it is clearly a dangerous product.

 

This supplier is not to be confused with Greenlife® - Australian Native Landscapes, who do supply us with a small amount of bulk products. Greenlife® - Australian Native Landscapes are in no way affiliated with the supplier in question and have proven over many years in the industry to be a reputable and safe supplier of recycled mulch and soil products.

 

In terms of mulch and what we supply, we only sell 1 mulch that is made from recycled products. Forest Fines is made as a byproduct from pallet disposal. These pallets are chipped up and the nails removed. This is a great way to create a cost effective mulch and is reusing product that would otherwise be burnt or buried.

 

All of our other mulches are from their source wood

Pine Bark (Hort Grade and Nuggets) - The bark of a pine tree

Cypress Woodchip and Uni Mulch – From Cypress trees

Red and Black woodchip – Dyed Pine

Leaf Mulch – Supplied to us from Tree Loppers when cutting and clearing trees and vegetation. We are told what is in the mix when it is dropped off.

Where possible, the products are the byproduct of the timber industry and sawmill offcuts.

 

We want to assure our customers that when you purchase your mulch from us you are buying a safe product that is sourced from reputable suppliers with a history of safe and ethical practices.
