Description

ANTI EFF: Powerful Efflorescence Remover

ANTI EFF, based on phosphoric and nitric acids, is an effective cleaner designed for various applications, especially where strong mineral acids are needed to dissolve metal salts on concrete surfaces. Unlike hydrochloric or sulfuric acids, ANTI EFF minimizes the risk of discolouration and efflorescence.

It's a heavy-duty acidic cleaner, perfect for removing efflorescence from pavers, terracotta, slate, or sandstone (not suitable for bluestone, limestone, or limestone composite products). Always consult your retailer or Environex International for efflorescence-related concerns.

Applications:

  • Ideal for removing efflorescence from concrete, clay, and terracotta surfaces.
  • Effectively cleans dirt and vegetable oil and fat spots on these surfaces.

Directions for Use:

  1. Lightly wet the surface first.
  2. Dilute ANTI EFF at 1:25 (no stronger than 1:15) and evenly wet the area down.
  3. Leave for 2-3 minutes, lightly scrub with an ENVIRONEX EAGER BEAVER.
  4. Rinse off immediately.
  5. Neutralize with a mix of REFRESH and water, then rinse with fresh water.
  6. For sealing, allow at least 2 days for the area to dry.

Building Industry Application:

  • On concrete surfaces, apply as a diluted solution (1:25) to prevent corrosion.
  • Limit contact time to 2-3 minutes.
  • For clay and terracotta, longer contact times and stronger solutions may be used.
  • Always test in a small area before full-scale treatment.

Safety Note:

ANTI EFF is highly corrosive. Wear goggles and rubber gloves. Refer to the MSDS for safety precautions.
