Concrete pavers, often referred to as paving stones, are a popular outdoor surface option. Similar to tiles, pavers are manufactured in specific shapes, sizes and colors and ready to be installed. Pavers are most commonly installed over a compacted base of soil and sand. Because there isn’t any grout between the joints, concrete pavers offer a permeable surface that allows water to pass through.
Available in a range of sizes and colours there are 2 methods of production. Dry Pressed pavers are moulded from a 'dry' mix of sand and cement, pressed into a mould giving a rougher finish and an affordable option. Wet cast is a wet mixture of sand and cement poured into a mould giving a premium finish and greater strength.
